Meet Jenny Lane

Jenny Lane (she/they) writes contemporary stories with queer characters ranging from middle grade to adult and is represented by Amy Giuffrida of The Belcastro Agency. Their stories are queer, whimsical, heartwarming…and always end with a happily ever something.

Lane brings their experiences as a fat, gender queer, bisexual, anxious human to the page and hopes to let other see themselves in a love story.

Lane has always lived in Northern California and writes about the places and spaces they know best. There’s nothing they love more than a fire pit, an ocean view, and a good book to read—but they will settle for any combination of these three.

Lane holds a BA in English from the University of California at Davis and a MS in Library Information Science from San Jose State University.

They live in northern California with their wife, three children, and dog that thinks she’s still a puppy.
